INITIAL STATE

The Insurance carrier found that its largely manual claims response process and charging third party insurer was riddled with challenges, negatively impacting operations and resulting in sub-optimal customer experience. The company had multiple and independently functioning teams managing claims operation that used a spreadsheet for invoice documents comparison. The company also faced challenges to keep track of claim cases with other insurers without tools or systems in place or no integrations with third-party Insurer APIs. The extensive manual effort resulted in inefficiencies, lower customer satisfaction, and cost inefficiency of the process.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of our team was to move to a modern, responsive web application that is integrated with Third-party insurer APIs To overcome insurer rely heavily on manual processes and physical documents, the client was on the lookout for a technology that could help the management of workflow and atom processes with the elimination of manual and paper-intensive operations and digitally transform processes. The client also needed reporting & dashboards to show revenue and savings.

SOLUTION

By working closely with the client, we at Subhi Consultancy were successful in Developing a more modern and responsive user interface to the application using React that is accessible from any device with a web browser. We were successful in –

Implemented micro-service architecture for APIs to support Web Apps and Reporting dashboards

Non-server Architecture for Claims process workflow using AWS native components.

Third-party Insurer and service provider API integration in Serverless architecture.

The client delighted with the results, as we were successful to help them eliminate paper and manual processing, deliver superior customer experience, reduce the turnaround time for processing along with a reduction in operational costs. It also enhanced employee productivity and made a better working environment.
